Fine turned & carved ivory English staunton pattern chess set , one side stained red other side left natural.

Set is almost certainly the work of Whitty of Liverpool with concentric rings to bottom of bases & red baize to bases these are always evident in Whitty sets. The Knights are of a high standard of carving with good detail.
