Jaques Ivory Staunton "Library" Set Circa 1855-60

Fine Ivory Staunton chess set, one side stained red other side left natural, white king stamped 'JAQUES LONDON', king side rooks & knights with crown stamps. Sets of this size started being made by Jaques in 1851 in both ivory & wood and were introduced as the "library" set. A good early example of the Library set.
