Large English bone playing set, one side left natural other side stained red , the set of Lund design with carved pierced crowns to kings and queens with feather finial, rooks as tall turrets, knights as well carved horses heads, pieces on urn shaped stems.

An interesting set as most sets of this quality were produced in ivory and bone examples are rare.
