Fine turned & carved Ivory chess set , one side stained red other side left natural, the set is of the Lund style with maltese crosses to kings and feathered finials to queens. Bishops with open decorated mitres, rooks as monbloc turrets with flags, knights as fine carved horses heads in the Lund manner.

Set comes in mahogany dovetailed slide lid box of same period as set.
