Fine mahogany folding board box, the exterior in mahogany with ebony border to chess board, chess board squares inlaid in boxwood & ebony. The interior with boxwood & ebony inlaid backgammon board. The central panels with boxwood decorated star shape typical design of the early to mid 1800’s.
The board comes with fine turned boxwood & ebony counters, boxwood turned dice shaker same period as the board. Also with four English vintage dice and doubling die.
Board and pieces retain an excellent polished finish.
