English Staunton pattern chess set one side ebony other side boxwood. All pieces with green baize to bases and retaining original French polished finish.

Set comes with an English mahogany hinged lift top board box with inlaid mahogany and satinwood chess board, same period as set. Interior with green baize backgammon board.
