Circa 1840-1870

Fine turned bone playing set one side left natural other side stained brown. The pieces in the Selenus style with petal galleries to kings & queens.

The set comes in its original softwood slide lid box and is sold with a continental chess board inlaid with various fruit wood and with attractive molded border , the board same period as set.
