Circa 1925-1935
Fine ebony & boxwood Staunton chess set by Jaques of London, both kings stamped “JAQUES LONDON” , king side knights and rooks with crown stamps. Pieces with bases green baize to bases. An excellent turned set with good original french polished finish.
Comes in original slide lid box with Jaques paper trade label to lid.
