Circa 1850-1880

Large English turned and carved bone playing set , one side stained red other side left natural.

All pieces with concentric decorated disc bases, the rooks as large towers surmouted by flags.

Set comes with an English ebonised chess board box , the exterior with chess board to ones side the other side with nine mens morris board, the interior with cloth backgammon board.
