Large fine “Calvert” pattern playing set one side in rosewood other side boxwood.

Set is an outstanding example of this particular style  , with fine grained rosewood, rich patina, fine uniform turning , attractive detailed knights and of a large size.

Set comes with a period stained pine slide lid box.
