REF1068 Jaques Ivory Staunton Set & Box
Circa 1910-1920

Fine turned and carved Ivory Staunton chess set one side stained red other side natural. White king stamped “JAQUES LONDON”. King side rooks & knights with crown stamps.

Set comes in original green leather “Trolley Car” the casket with green silk lined interior, the exterior with gilt decoration , with Howard Staunton’s facsimile signature and stamped ” The Staunton Chessmen” to top of casket. The base with Jaques paper trade label.
