Fine gilt tooled leather English folding games box , exterior with tooled leather chess board and sides representing a book with gilt decorated spines inscribed “History of England” Vol 1 & 2 . The interior with tooled leather backgammon board with  gilt decoration.

Set comes with thirty turned boxwood & ebonised counters, two turned bone dice shakers and two bone dice same period as board.
