English ebony & boxwood weighted Staunton set, white king stamped “JAQUES LONDON”.

King side rooks & knights with crown stamps, all pieces loaded and with green baize. Set comes in original mahogany lift top box with Jaques paper trade label to lid.

A fabulous example of this period set, with fine detailed knights and a rich dark colour to the boxwood pieces.

Kings 9 cm Tall.

These historic Jaques sets all come with signed authors copy of the Jaques collectors guide and insurance valuation.
