Circa 1810

Fine carved French bust set , the European side turned & carved in bone and the Moors carved in coquilla nut. The European knights and pawns with grecian helmets, bishops carved as fools “fou” , rooks as slender turned turrets with brick work decoration and the Kings and queens as European monarchs.

The coqulilia nut side as moorish pawns wearing Napolionic helmets, knights as moorish calvarly , kings & queens as Moorish rulers.
