Attractive ebony & boxwood German playing set , the kings and queens with carved decorated galleries, bishops with slender shaped stems with round open miters, knights as horses heads , rooks as attractive detailed towers upon stems and pawns as slender oviod based stems.

Set retains original French polished finish.

Set comes with a mahogany framed chess board with painted decorated squares.
