Ivory turned & carved playing set one side stained red other side left natural. Kings & queens with pierced & carved crowns, bishops with carved open mitres, rooks as attractive brick work towers.

Set comes with attractive Indian sandal wood slide lid box proufously descorated with floral motifs. Box same period as set.
