Fine weighted Staunton Set of “Club Size” . The pieces turned & carved in boxwood and ebony, King side rooks & knights with crown stamps to tops. All pieces with loaded bases and green baize.
Set retains a good original French polished finish.
Comes in original mahogany dovetailed box the interior lined in green baize.
Set comes with an oak framed chess board Circa 1910-1930.
An impressive set with fine detailed carved knights, great finish , weight and large size.
