Rosewood backgammon & chess board box , the exterior inlaid as a chess board with ivory and rosewood alternating squares , with inlaid ivory boarder.
The interior inlaid as a backgammon board with rosewood & Ivory. The centres with attractive floral decoration inlaid in ivory and lac work.
Comes with thirty Indian ivory & horn backgammon pieces and two Indian ivory turned shakers of the 19th century,

The construction , material and inlay teqhnique are from Vizagapatam in the 18th century.
