Fine ebony & boxwood Staunton chess set by Jaques of London.
The white king stamped “JAQUES LONDON” , king side rooks & knights with crown stamps. Excellent original french polished finish.
Twenty four of the pieces retaining there original “stickers” to bases.
Comes in original mahogany slide lid box with Jaques paper trade label to lid.
Kings 8.7 CM tall
