Large ebony & boxwood playing set in the “Edinboro” style, knights as fine carved horses heads.

Set comes with same period English mahogany framed chess board with rosewood and boxwood inlaid squares.

Set retains an excellent original polished finish.

The pieces resembling the sets pictured by Jaques in there adverts with a few slight diffrences that lead me to belive the set was made by a good English maker.

Kings 11.6 CM Tall

All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
