Fine gilt tooled leather English folding games box , the exterior with tooled leather chess board and sides representing a book with elaborate gilt decorated spines inscribed “History of England” Vol 1 & 2 . The interior with tooled leather backgammon board with gilt decoration.
With thirty turned bone backgammon counters , leather turned shaker and two dice. Same period as board.
