Weighted English ebony & boxwood Staunton set, white king stamped “JAQUES LONDON” . King side rooks & knights with crown stamps, all pieces with loaded bases bases and green baize. Set comes in original mahogany lift top box with Jaques paper trade label to lid.
Set comes with an English walnut framed chess board with boxwood and mahogany inlaid squares. The board circa 1890-1910
Set retains an excellent original French polished finish.
Kings 9 cm Tall.
