English ebony & boxwood weighted Staunton set, Both kings stamped “JAQUES LONDON” . King side rooks & knights with crown stamps, all pieces with loaded bases and green baize.
Set comes in original mahogany lift top box with Jaques paper trade label to lid.
Set Comes with a Mahogany framed chess board inlaid with boxwood & rosewood squares. same period as board.
These historic Jaques sets all come with signed authors copy of the Jaques collectors guide and insurance valuation.

Set & board retains an excellent original French polished finish.
