English ebony & boxwood Staunton set, both kings stamped “JAQUES LONDON” . King side rooks & knights with crown stamps.
Set comes in original mahogany slide lid box with Jaques paper trade label to lid. Also with oak framed vintage chess board.
Set retains an excellent original French polished finish.
Kings 9 cm Tall. Board 45.5 CM Squares 5 CM
All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
