Fine ebony & boxwood Staunton chess set by Jaques of London, White king stamped “JAQUES LONDON” , king side knights and rooks with crown stamps. Pieces with green baize. An excellent turned set with good original french polished finish.
Set comes in original slide lid box with Jaques paper trade label.
Set comes with a mahogany framed chess board with walnut & boxwood inlaid squares.

All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
