REF1463 English Ivory Playing set, box & board.
Circa 1830-1860
English ivory playing set, one side stained red other side left natural. The style of the fine carved knights would indicate this set came from the London makers Lund.
Set comes in original mahogany lift top box with burgundy felt lined interior.
Set comes with an ebonised framed chess board same period as set.
