Ebony & boxwood weighted Staunton set, white king stamped “JAQUES LONDON” . King side rooks & knights with crown stamps, all pieces with loaded bases and green baize.
Set comes with original mahogany lift top box with Jaques paper trade label to lid. & a fine vintage English rosewood & boxwood board Circa 1900-1920.
Set retains an excellent original French polished finish.
Kings 9 cm Tall. Board 43 CM Squares 5 CM
All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
