Circa 1840-1880
German bone playing set one side stained dark brown other side left natural. Pieces of typical Selenus pattern with kings and queens with galleries , with slender turned bodies.
The Walnut & boxwood inlaid folding chess board box , same origina and period as the set.
Kings 9.5 CM Tall Board 24 CM Squares 3 CM
All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
