Turned & carved Mammoth tusk Staunton pattern chess set one side left natural other side stained red.
The material is over ten thousand years old!
These sets were made in Canton for the western export market.
Set comes with lift top mahogany storage box and mahogany framed chess board with rosewood and satinwood squares. Box & board same period as chess set.
