Fine Dutch playing set, one side turned in ebony with bone tops other with boxwood turned pieces with ebony tops. A very fine turned set , excellent original patina and polished finish.
Set comes in walnut fitted chess box.
Oak framed chess board with oak & softwood inlaid squares. Board 19th century.
