Large fine Indian ivory export chess set, white side in ivory , black side in horn.
The set was made in Vizagapatam in India being one of the finest areas of its time for ivory carving. Kings queens with fancy decorated crown and coronet,, bishops with elaborate pierced and decorated mitres, knights as horses, rooks as towers.
