Circa 1850-1870
Fine French chess board box in rosewood, the sides of bombe shape , one side a front drawer inlaid in satinwood with turned rosewood knob handle. The top with inlaid rosewood & boxwood squares , border strung in boxwood. The box raised on four gilt brass feet.
