REF1864 Large German playing set & Box
Circa 1830
German bone playing set one side stained dark brown other side left natural. Pieces of typical Selenus pattern with kings and queens with pierced galleries , with slender turned bodies.
The chessmen come with original pine slide lid box. The reverse with pencil date “1832”
Kings 12 CM Tall
All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
