One side a dark brown polished finish, the other side red polished finish. Attractive inverted shaped bodies, the bases , galleries & knights heads in polished bone. Set comes in same period mahogany box and an attrative mahogany frmaed chess board, the squares inlaid in boxwood and ebonised.
The board also same period as the chessmen.
