Large French Staunton weighted chessmen , one side natural boxwood opposing side ebonised boxwood. The large pieces with loaded and felted bases.
Set retains original French polished finish.

Comes in original dovetailed hardwood box .
These great playing sets were made by Lardy of Dortan France. Lardy made great playing sets from 1890 throughout the 20th century.
These are genuine antiques! Great to play and a good investment.
