English metal chessmen in the “Spanish Pulpit” style. One side stained balck other side in silver metal. The pieces with traditional pulpit feathered & pierced bodies, rooks as turrets surmounted by canons , knights with horses heads, bishops with mitre tops, kings & queens with bust tops.
These attractive sets were made by Carlton of England , this set comes in original tooled leatherette fitted case. The marked ” CARLTON PRODUCT MADE IN ENGLAND”
