English turned & carved chessmen , one side in boxwood other side rosewood.
Pieces with attractive multi turned bodies, knights as detailed carved horses heads, rooks as towers.
Pieces with good original polished finish & patina.
Chessmen housed in original mahogany slide lid box and with a mahogany chess board with attractive moulded frame, inlaid squares in satinwood & rosewood. Both box and board same period as the chessmen.
