Pieces with attractive slender turned bodies on disc bases, Kings & queens with coronet galleries. Rooks as tapered towers typical of the 18th century. A good example of the 18th century English playing set. Set comes with original mahogany lift top box with diamond shape escutcheon in ebony. Kings 7.5 CM Tall These are genuine antiques!
