Fine turned & carved English chessmen, one side rosewood other side boxwood. The design of the pieces and fine carved knights are attributed to Calvert of London. Typical are the thick large maltese crosses and design of knights.
A good size set with original patination to pieces.

All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
