English Staunton pattern chessmen one side in boxwood other side ebony , pieces with felted bases. Chessmen retain excellent original french polished finish.
Design of the pieces and style of knights are from chessmen made by Feltham of London in the late 19th and early 20th century.
Chessmen come in mahogany slide lide box and with English oak & boxwood inlaid chess board with boxwood inliad border, same period as the chessmen.
