English chessmen turned & carved in bone, one side left natural other side stained red. The pieces with urn shaped stems typical of the early 19th century.

Chessmen housed in same period oak lift top box with bone inlaid escutcheon.
English oak framed board of the same period with mahogany & oak inlaid chess board. Good original patina.
