Fine rosewood folding board box, the exterior in rosewood with mahogany border to chess board, chess board squares inlaid in boxwood & ebony. The interior with boxwood & ebony inlaid backgammon board. The central panels with boxwood decorated flowers typical design of George III era and often seen on high quality tea caddies of this period.
The board comes with boxwood turned dice shaker and ebony & boxwood backgammon counters from the 1800’s.
Board and pieces retain an excellent polished finish.
