REF3239 Fine German Chessmen, box & board.
Circa 1830-1870

Fine turned & carved bone chessmen, one side stained brown other side left natural. Set in the Selenus pattern from the mastercraftsmen of Nuremberg Germany.

Set comes in original stained pine slide lid box. The inside of lid with official stamps. (see image)

Set comes same period mahogany framed chessboard with mahogany & boxwood inlaid squares. Board retains original French polished finish.

Kings 8.4 CM tall    Board 26.5 CM     Square 3.2 CM
