Attractive turned boxwood & ebonised chessmen , the bodies with concentric turned decoration, rooks as monobloc towers and the knights as detailed carved horses with glass inset eyes.
Set retains original polished finish.
Chessmen come in same period dovetailed mahogany lift top box. With same period oak chessboard.
