Staunton pattern chessmen by B & Co . One side ebony other side boxwood , all pieces with green baize. The pieces with fine slender stems, kings with ball tops , knights as carved horses.
B & Co. were a London maker in the late 19th century . Making various sizes of Staunton sets.
Set comes in mahogany lift top box. same period as the chessmen.
Kings 8.5 CM Tall
All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
