Circa 1910-1930
German HAC chess timer retailed by Jaques of London.
A great example with “JAQUES LONDON” label to reverse and “JAQUES LONDON” in gold letters to front.

The Imperial chess club held a strong tournament in 1927 won by Aron Nimzowitsch.
German chess timer by HAC (Hamburg American Clock Co.)
The interior with two perfect working clock movements, both stamped with the HAC crossed arrows. The stamps also on the enamel clock faces. The timers parts were made by HAC and then assembled by Jaques for retail.
