Fine ebony & boxwood chessmen in the Calvert pattern. Pieces with mutli turned bodies. The knights as fine carved horses , Kings with ball and cone shaped tops.

Kings 9.5 CM Tall

Chessmen come in English mahogany dovetailed lift top chess box with bone escutcheon. Same period as the chessmen.

All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
