Fine turned & carved German chessmen in the Selenus pattern, The chessmen of bone one side stained dark brown other side left natural. A fine turned example from the mastercraftsmen of Nuremberg Germany.
Chessmen come with a fine mahogany framed chess board. The squares inlaid in birds eye maple and walnut . The moulded framed board with inlaid parquetry border. the board same period as the chessmen.
With same period mahogany slide lid chess box.
