Circa 1860 - 1890

Fine Coromandel wood games compendium , the satinwood interior with folding doors containing a bone Staunton chess set one side stained red other side left natural.
The interior lid containg a leather folding chess board , backgammon and royal ascot horse racing game.

The top with brass cribb board , pegs, dice, bone backgammon counters stained red and natural, bone dominoes. Lift out tray containing four packs of cards.

The bottom with racing game pieces and tooled leather games card markers.

The compendium with brass inset plaque ” The Royal Cabinet of Games” These fine boxes were retailed by Jaques of London and up market retailers in the 1800s.

The cabinet dimensions 33 CM x 22.5 CM x 18 CM Kings 6.5 CM Tall.

These are genuine antiques! Great to play and a good investment.
