Fine large Staunton chess set one side ebony other side boxwood. King side knights and rooks with crown stamps.
The knights heads in Xylonite an early plastic used by BCC for there knights heads . All pieces with green baize to bases.
Set comes in original mahogany French polished lift top box with BCC paper trade label. The label indicating the chessmen size as number one which is the largest size BCC made.
All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
